4 Weeks, Risograph Printing Session 1

In this four-week class, students will meet once a week for two hours over four weeks and learn how to print with and use our Risograph machine. Throughout the class, students will explore concepts and a variety of forms, experiment with color overlays, and work with alignment for the final production of their work. Each participant will make 10 copies, in two color runs of their print on provided paper with a maximum print size of 11" x 17". No prior experience is needed—bring a friend along and see you at Paradise! _____________ Included in the course fee; + all paper used throughout the session, including different sizes and colors + risograph materials including masters and inks + hand-making tools and materials for collage and drawing _____________ This course is offered during each of our three sessions. The dates include and times include; _____________ Session 1; Thursday nights, 6:30–8:30pm + August 24 + August 31 + September 7 + September 14 _____________ Session 2; Wednesday mornings, 10am–12pm + September 27 + October 4 + October 11 + October 18 _____________ Session 3; Monday mornings, 10am–12pm + October 30 + October 6 + October 13 + October 20 _______________ About the instructor; Jack specializes in ceramics and risograph printing. He is interested in printing collages with the risograph machine from old magazines and loves experimenting with color overlays.
Paradise Press and Print Studio reserves the right to cancel a workshop if fewer than 3 participants register, the possibility of dangerous weather conditions, and any unforeseen building or studio issues. If Paradise Press and Print Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop, participants will have the option to continue to be enrolled in the new course time or request a refund or course credit. ________________ Participant Cancelation: We require at least 3 days notice of cancellation, regardless of reason, to receive a full refund. Any cancellation less than 3 days prior to the workshop, will receive a workshop credit good for 60 days for any available workshop of equal value. If you are more than 45 minutes late, you will be considered a “no show” and it will be too late to receive a refund, workshop credit, or begin typesetting & printing at this point.
