Open Studio Day Access

Service Description

This one-day studio access gives you open use of all machines and facilities at Paradise Press and Print Studio. This one-day access is available to use from 10am–5pm. Open studio days will be offered on the following dates; + Monday, June 3 + Tuesday, June 4 + Wednesday, June 5 + Monday, June 10 + Tuesday, June 11 + Wednesday, June 12 + Thursday, June 13 + Monday, June 24 + Tuesday, June 25 + Wednedsay, June 26 + Thursday, June 27 Mediums you can explore during the day; + Risograph Printing + Letterpress Printing + Screenprinting + Book Binding + Linoleum Carving + Collage + Working area (a space for you to brainstorm, conceptualize, or work on your own medium). During the day, participants can work on any project using an assigned work area. Additional resources like paper, ink, risograph masters, and risgraph impressions are extra. Please see our open studio page for cost details. Participants will be charged with an invoice at the end of their day studio access and must pay before leaving the studio. Venmo, card, or exact cash is accepted. Please keep in mind, other classes, or participants may be sharing the studio with you during your open studio session and we do not provide instruction on how to use each medium. It is expected that participants have a working knowledge of the medium they are interested in using. Verification of knowledge may be needed. Cancellation Policy

Paradise Press and Print Studio reserves the right to cancel a studio working day if the possibility of dangerous weather conditions and any unforeseen building or studio issues. If Paradise Press and Print Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a membership date, participants will have the option to continue to use the membership at the agreed-upon time/date or request a refund or studio credit. ________________ Participant Cancelation: We require at least 3 days' notice of cancellation, regardless of reason, to receive a full refund. Any cancellation less than 3 days prior to the studio space, will receive a studio credit for the amount paid. If you do not use any days of your scheduled membership, you will be considered a “no-show” and it will be too late to receive a refund or credit. To cancel or reschedule, please email heyhacienda@gmail.com ________________ Studio Use and Working Practice: Paradise Press monitors participant working practices through video and voice recordings through our Ring Alarm system. Paradise Press is not responsible for any injury caused by the participant while using the space or the tools available and used by the participant. Participants are expected to respect the studio and the tools they are allowed to use. Any tools found damaged or missing after the participants booked studio use time will require the participant to pay for the tool or replace it. If a participant is found using the space recklessly or destroying tools or the space, participants can be revoked access rights to the studio and their membership terminated regardless if they have used all the days in the membership.
