Risograph; Digital Design, 3-Hours
Saturday (09/09) and Sunday (09/10), 4:30–6pm
Service Description
In this 2-day risograph course, participants will be introduced to the Risograph machine and how to create and use digital files to print with. Day one includes 1.5 hours of instruction and information provided on a brief history of risograph, an overview of file set-ups, tips and tricks for digital success, and small in-class work time. Between sessions, participants have the opportunity and more time to finalize their digital design before coming back on Day 2 for 1.5 hours to finalize and print a two-color print of a photograph. Participants are required to have access to a computer, iPad, or some sort of digital creation device where their artwork can be exported and printed from a PDF. They will also have access to a shared iMac computer at the studio. ________________ There are three session opportunities this summer for this two-day class which include the following dates; Session 1; + Saturday, September 9th, 4:30–6pm + Sunday, September 10th, 4:30–6pm Session 2; + Saturday, October 21st, 4:30–6pm + Sunday, October 22nd, 4:30–6pm Please note when booking, the first date is only listed. Cancellation Policy
Paradise Press and Print Studio reserves the right to cancel a workshop if fewer than 3 participants register, the possibility of dangerous weather conditions, and any unforeseen building or studio issues. If Paradise Press and Print Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop, participants will have the option to continue to be enrolled in the new course time or request a refund or course credit. ________________ Participant Cancelation: We require at least 3 days notice of cancellation, regardless of reason, to receive a full refund. Any cancellation less than 3 days prior to the workshop, will receive a workshop credit good for 60 days for any available workshop of equal value. If you are more than 45 minutes late, you will be considered a “no show” and it will be too late to receive a refund, workshop credit, or begin typesetting & printing at this point.
