Risograph Printing, 3 Weeks

Service Description

In this three-week class, students will meet once a week for two hours and learn how to print with and use our Risograph machine. Throughout the class, students will explore concepts and a variety of forms, experiment with color overlays, and work with alignment for the final production of their work. Each participant will make multiple copies of prints that are made with collage and digital techniques. No prior experience is needed—bring a friend along and see you at Paradise! _____________ Included in the course fee; + all paper used throughout the session, including different sizes and colors + risograph materials including masters and inks + hand-making tools and materials for collage and drawing _____________ This course is offered on Thursday Nights, 6:30–8:30 pm on the following dates; + June 5 + June 12 + June 26 _____________ About the instructor; Ashley is the owner of Paradise Press and Print Studio and loves teaching her favorite printmaking techniques. She especially is fond of letterpress printing because of the complexities and details needed to complete a print.

Cancellation Policy

Paradise Press and Print Studio reserves the right to cancel a workshop if fewer than 3 participants register, the possibility of dangerous weather conditions, and any unforeseen building or studio issues. If Paradise Press and Print Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop, participants will have the option to continue to be enrolled in the new course time or request a refund or course credit. ________________ Participant Cancelation: We require at least 3 days notice of cancellation, regardless of reason, to receive a full refund. Any cancellation less than 3 days prior to the workshop, will receive a workshop credit good for 60 days for any available workshop of equal value. If you are more than 45 minutes late, you will be considered a “no show” and it will be too late to receive a refund, workshop credit, or begin typesetting & printing at this point.
