Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear for a workshop?
Please wear clothes that you will be ok with getting ink on or dirty. At the studio, we provide aprons to help protect your clothes, but sometimes ink, grease, or other dirt may sneak onto your clothing that is hard to wash out. Additionally, please wear closed-toed, comfy shoes that are okay to stand on a concrete floor for multiple hours. We have chairs available but you’ll be moving around the studio quite a bit throughout the workshop.

How early should I arrive for a workshop?
Please arrive a couple of minutes early to leave time to settle in, but no earlier than 15 minutes before the workshop start time. We have a lot of fun stuff to do in the designated workshop top, and arriving on time helps the class start and end at the designated times.
If I’m driving, how do I get there and where should I park at the studio?
The studio has ample area in front of our doors for parking. There is also parking available in front of Studio TM (our clay studio neighbors). The address to the studio is 1854 NE 2nd St, Suite B, Gainesville, FL 32609. Google Maps has not taken photos of our building yet— yes we know it is trees but we exist! The best way to get to our studio when headed east from Main Street on NE 23rd AVE, is to turn right onto NE 2nd Street and we will be on the right. When headed east from Main Street on NE 16th Ave, turn left onto NE 2nd Street and we will be on the left.
What do I do if I’m late for a workshop?
Classes are designed with instruction and hands-on working time during the entire designed time—we have a lot to do in just a couple of hours, so please, please try not to be late for your workshop. We will begin at the designated start time with introductions, a brief history and background of the medium, and then we will jump right into our print project. If you are more than 45 minutes late, you will be considered a “no show” and it will be too late to receive a refund, workshop credit, or interject into the workshop.
What happens to a workshop if there is bad weather?
If I have made the judgment to still host the workshop, and you cannot make the event due to bad weather, I will offer you a workshop credit that is good for 60 days. If I have canceled the workshop due to bad weather, I will offer you a full refund or a class credit that does not expire.
Are these BYOB workshops?
The only workshops with BYOB allowed are our Ink and Drink Series. Please do not bring beer or alcohol unless specifically enrolled in these workshop series.
