Design Across Mediums, 3 Weeks

Service Description

In this three-week class, students will meet once a week for 2 hours to learn three different mediums; screenprinting, risograph printing, and bookbinding. Throughout the class, students will explore concepts and a variety of forms, experiment with color overlays, and work with alignment for the final production of their work. Each participant will make 10 copies, in two color runs of their print on provided paper with a maximum print size of 11" x 17". At the end, participants will use their prints to create a bound sketchbook in the coptic style. No prior experience is needed—bring a friend along and see you at Paradise! _____________ Included in the course fee; + all paper used throughout the session, including different sizes and colors + risograph materials including masters and inks + hand-making tools and materials for collage and drawing + screenprinting supplies and ink included + binding thread and paper for sketchbook _____________ Monday 6:30–8:30pm on the following dates; + June 03 + June 10 + June 24 _____________ About the instructor; Ashley is the owner of Paradise Press and Print Studio and loves teaching her favorite printmaking techniques. She especially is fond of letterpress printing because of the complexities and details needed to complete a print.

Cancellation Policy

Paradise Press and Print Studio reserves the right to cancel a workshop if fewer than 3 participants register, the possibility of dangerous weather conditions, and any unforeseen building or studio issues. If Paradise Press and Print Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop, participants will have the option to continue to be enrolled in the new course time or request a refund or course credit. ________________ Participant Cancelation: We require at least 3 days notice of cancellation, regardless of reason, to receive a full refund. Any cancellation less than 3 days prior to the workshop, will receive a workshop credit good for 60 days for any available workshop of equal value. If you are more than 45 minutes late, you will be considered a “no show” and it will be too late to receive a refund, workshop credit, or begin typesetting & printing at this point.
