Intro to Risograph Printing, 2-Hours

Service Description

In this 2-hour class, participants will be introduced to risograph printing including how to prepare images by hand, color options, and printing two-color overlays on a page. The course starts with an introduction to Risograph history and machine overview. From there we transition into making a Riso exploration chart by hand using a variety of materials (paint, markers, collage, etc.) After the mark exploration page, participants will then take information from the mark page and translate it into a two-color final print. Each person will walk away with 10 copies in two colors of an 8.5 x 11, two-color print. _______________ Supplies included with this course; + All collage materials including magazines, stencils, markers, pencils, etc + Paper for printing and collage _______________ Participants can expect the following; + 10 printed copies of their final design on paper color of their choosing + Copies of each participants test collage print _______________ About the instructor; Ashley is the owner of Paradise Press and Print Studio and loves teaching her favorite printmaking techniques. She especially is fond of letterpress printing because of the complexities and details needed to complete a print.

Cancellation Policy

Paradise Press and Print Studio reserves the right to cancel a workshop if fewer than 3 participants register, the possibility of dangerous weather conditions, and any unforeseen building or studio issues. If Paradise Press and Print Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop, participants will have the option to continue to be enrolled in the new course time or request a refund or course credit. ________________ Participant Cancelation: We require at least 3 days notice of cancellation, regardless of reason, to receive a full refund. Any cancellation less than 3 days prior to the workshop, will receive a workshop credit good for 60 days for any available workshop of equal value. If you are more than 45 minutes late, you will be considered a “no show” and it will be too late to receive a refund, workshop credit, or begin typesetting & printing at this point.
