Intro to Risograph Printing, 2-Hours

Service Description

In this 2-hour class, participants will be introduced to risograph printing including how to prepare images by hand, color options, and printing two-color overlays on a page. The course starts with an introduction to Risograph history and machine overview. From there we lead into making a Riso exploration chart by hand using a variety of materials (paint, markers, collage, etc.) After the mark exploration page, participants will then take information from the mark page and translate it into a two-color final print. Each person will walk away with 10 copies in two colors of an 8.5 x 11, two-color print.

Cancellation Policy

Paradise Press and Print Studio reserves the right to cancel a workshop if fewer than 3 participants register, the possibility of dangerous weather conditions, and any unforeseen building or studio issues. If Paradise Press and Print Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop, participants will have the option to continue to be enrolled in the new course time or request a refund or course credit. ________________ Participant Cancelation: We require at least 3 days notice of cancellation, regardless of reason, to receive a full refund. Any cancellation less than 3 days prior to the workshop, will receive a workshop credit good for 60 days for any available workshop of equal value. If you are more than 45 minutes late, you will be considered a “no show” and it will be too late to receive a refund, workshop credit, or begin typesetting & printing at this point.
