In this 2 day course, participants will learn two different printing methods and have the opportunity to print editions of two color prints. The methods taught include; _________ + Freezer Paper as Stencil + Monoprinting _________ Participants will have fun exploring these different methods as they related to putting image from screen to paper. All materials will be provided and no experience is required. Open to ages 12+ at all experience levels. At the end of this course students should expect to have made multiple experimental pieces with two colors, up to 10 final prints. Registration and printing in repetition will be taught. Come and learn all the different ways you can make with screenprinting! _________ Please note, the first session is only listed when purchasing, please make sure you can attend booth days on; + Saturday, October 21st + Sunday, October 22 from 2:00–4:00pm on both days. _______________ Included in the course fee; + premixed inks to choose from + materials to create your prints including freezer paper, cutting and drawing materials + screens to print with + newsprint and final paper to print editions on _______________ About the instructor; Ashley is the owner of Paradise Press and Print Studio and loves teaching her favorite printmaking techniques. She especially is fond of letterpress printing because of the complexities and details needed to complete a print.
Paradise Press and Print Studio reserves the right to cancel a workshop if fewer than 3 participants register, the possibility of dangerous weather conditions, and any unforeseen building or studio issues. If Paradise Press and Print Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop, participants will have the option to continue to be enrolled in the new course time or request a refund or course credit. ________________ Participant Cancelation: We require at least 3 days notice of cancellation, regardless of reason, to receive a full refund. Any cancellation less than 3 days prior to the workshop, will receive a workshop credit good for 60 days for any available workshop of equal value. If you are more than 45 minutes late, you will be considered a “no show” and it will be too late to receive a refund, workshop credit, or begin typesetting & printing at this point.
