ScreenprintingMembership & Equipment Use
3-day access from 10am–5pm to use the screenprinting facility within a one-month period
Service Description
This Screenprinting membership provides access to our entire screenprinting facility including darkroom, washout booth, exposure unit, and printing space. A large collection of metal and wood type is available, plus several boxcar bases for printing from digital files. ________________________________________ Included in Membership: + 3 days of privately-booked time and use of the screenprinting facility during open studio hours—access days do not need to be successive but must be used within one month of purchasing + Use of black, waterbed ink. Members must supply their own ink or they may bring in one quart of waterbed acrylic screen printing ink to contribute to the ink library which provides access to the entire collection. + Ability to conveniently purchase screenprinting materials right on site. + Use of 2 boxcar bases for polymer plate making + Access to members-only working areas including private desk, storage, and flat files storage + Ability to rent various screen types and sizes during your membership days + 10% discount on any workshop or Ink & Drink ________________________________________ Safety and machine training required: By purchasing this membership, each participant is required to take a one-time safety and studio training course. This 1 hour long course will provide correct working methods for the exposure unit, pressure washer, and washout booth. +Screenprinting Training: one-time cost for 1-hour training - $100 ________________________________________ When booking, you will book your first day to complete the membership in the month. The membership can be then successive for the next two days when the studio is open. If you would like these three days to be different, please email me your three-day preferences for us to arrange your studio dates to complete the membership.
Cancellation Policy
Paradise Press and Print Studio reserves the right to cancel a studio working day if the possibility of dangerous weather conditions and any unforeseen building or studio issues. If Paradise Press and Print Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a membership date, participants will have the option to continue to use the membership at the agreed-upon time/date or request a refund or studio credit. ________________ Participant Cancelation: We require at least 3 days' notice of cancellation, regardless of reason, to receive a full refund. Any cancellation less than 3 days prior to the studio space, will receive a studio credit for the amount paid. If you do not use any days of your scheduled membership, you will be considered a “no-show” and it will be too late to receive a refund or credit. To cancel or reschedule, please email heyhacienda@gmail.com ________________ Studio Use and Working Practice: Paradise Press monitors participant working practices through video and voice recordings through our Ring Alarm system. Paradise Press is not responsible for any injury caused by the participant while using the space or the tools available and used by the participant. Participants are expected to respect the studio and the tools they are allowed to use. Any tools found damaged or missing after the participants booked studio use time will require the participant to pay for the tool or replace it. If a participant is found using the space recklessly or destroying tools or the space, participants can be revoked access rights to the studio and their membership terminated regardless if they have used all the days in the membership.
